Wayne has been at City East Community College for over 20 years teaching his two passions: Massage and Running. He has been the director of Sydney Health Educators since 1994, which provides high quality massage education to the community and private sector. Wayne holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and is a qualified personal trainer with Certificate III, IV and Diploma of Fitness, Health and Physical Education from TAFE Sydney Institute. His wide knowledge of massage styles and practices have enabled him to teach both the established massage techniques of Swedish and Remedial massage and the increasingly popular Hawaiian massage, Reflexology and Sports massage.

As a runner Wayne is enthusiastic about working with community runners of all levels – those wishing to run or walk a 5k race through to marathons and ultras. Hundreds of runners have developed their skills with Wayne as their coach, including a few Masters' world champions. Wayne started running competitively in 1990 and has been qualified with Athletics Australia since 1997. He is a Level 3 IAAF Coach (Middle and Long Distance), Level 3 Advanced Event Group Coach (Middle and Long Distance) and IAAF Kids Athletics coach. Wayne is an active member and coach of Atheltics East and Frontrunners running clubs.
