Lisa Mimmochi is a costume designer, maker and co-ordinator. She studied costume design at the Victorian College of the Arts and has nearly ten years experience working for independent and commercial theatre, dance and circus arts companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Ensemble Theatre, Pacific Opera and PACT Youth Theatre. She also has experience leading workshops in costume designing and manufacturing for community cultural development projects through companies such as Shopfront Theatre and Ashfield Youth Theatre. She has a practical approach to teaching and mixes theory and history components with skills development giving students a rounded approach to costume and garment production.
