Originally trained in her native France, Marlene is a third generation beautician, a herbal home remedies specialist, herbalist, aromatherapist and soap maker. She has completed diplomas of Naturopathy in both France and Australia and also holds a Certificate IV qualifications in Beauty Therapies and Diversional Therapy.

She founded Soapconscious in 2002, a business dedicated to demystifying the cosmetics industry and offering alternative natural quality products with pure Australian ingredients and Australian Natives. She handcrafts her products in small productions with love and care. Two ingredients she believes are an essential for everyone’s health and beauty.
