At the tender age of three, Julie Tremp began studying classical and jazz ballet. Since turning professional at 17 she has performed in many theatre productions, stage cabaret shows and on television. She has also choreographed for cabaret productions, nightclub reviews, ice and fashion shows. Along with teaching at the Eastern Suburbs Community College, she also teaches at several dance studios in Sydney, and lectures and teaches for the Dance Council of Australia and is an adjudicator for both Dancesport events of the Australian National Masters Games and Australia’s annual National Belly Dance competition. Her repertoire includes Ballroom, Australian New Vogue, International Latin, Nightclub Latin (Salsa Meregue), Tango Argentine and Dance Oriental (belly dance).
