Course Outline
Make your own sterling silver textured and patterned ring in this hands on jewellery class. Perfect for beginners wanting to learn some fundamental jewellery making skills.
A ring may seem simple, but you will learn so much – and go home with a bespoke ring for you or someone special. You will start by measuring and calculating how much silver you will be using. Noting the measure twice, cut once rule! After you saw your silver you will apply heat to it to anneal it and make it pliable. You can choose to stamp to create texture. Then progres to solder the join together and hammer it into shape on a ring mandrel. Then emery and polish to achieve your desired finish.
