Course Outline
Hula Hoop (ing) is a playful way to stay fit while developing coordination, stamina, balance, and rhythm. A recent study by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) revealed that working out with a weighted hula hoop burns about as many calories per minute as step aerobics, boot camp, or very brisk walking!
With all these health benefits it’s high-time you learn how to hula hoop. Spin into good health with CEC’s super-fun and energetic Hula Hoop for Beginners classes! Learn how to hula hoop and develop your hula hoop (ing) fitness.
Catering to all levels of skill and ability, these hula hoop classes cover the foundations of hooping; including moves both on and off the body, multiple hoops, and hula hoop dance. Whatever your hula hoop history may be, you’ll have a ball as you enliven your senses, tone your abdominals, build core strength and tune into your rhythmic rotations whilst learning how to command correctly-sized and weighted hula hoops.
