Learn German in this class for Absolute Beginners – whether you’re wanting to learn for travel, business or fun, this beginner’s course will get you started! This course will provide you with speaking skills as well as basic reading and writing skills, whilst also introducing important grammatical structures.

This course is for absolute beginners, who do not have any prior experience learning the language or for those who have not studied German in a long time and would like to refresh the basics.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:
• Introduce yourself to others and exchange personal information in German
• Engage in basic everyday conversation

• Greetings
• Personal information (nationality, occupation, age, name)
• The German alphabet and basic rules for pronunciation in German
• Numbers 1 – 1000
• Affirmative and negative sentences in the present tense (conjugation of regular verbs)
• Vocabulary and structures to talk about leisure activities, as well as preferences and intentions
