Course Outline
To move well is to feel well. As a woman (particularly if you have given birth) you will have specific needs when it comes to exercise. Enjoy these safe and inclusive classes designed to develop your strength, mobility and flexibility.
You will improve your core strength and movement control; hip, leg and upper limb strength; and spinal mobility. Work the deep slow muscles of your body to improve core control and create a foundation for every activity, sport and daily function.
These are non-aerobic mat classes, we work in bare feet and loose or flexible clothing.

About your tutor
Your leader Caroline is an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, has a background in Contemporary Dance and practices Yoga. She began running these exercise classes for mums in 2005, after the birth of her second child. She was looking for an appropriate class to regain her strength and flexibility and when she couldn’t find one, she decided to create her own. It has since evolved into a class for women of all ages and stages in life. Having worked in core control, functional and sports rehabilitation for patients with spinal and musculoskeletal issues, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience.

All courses need a minimum number of students to run. If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled prior to commencement and you will be informed.
