MS Excel is the world’s leading spreadsheet application and essential in business. It also has applications for home budgeting and personal use. Develop your basic business skills and become more confident with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. You will learn or review how to create simple spreadsheets and charts, how to format them professionally and visually represent your data.

This course is suitable for anyone who would like to develop or improve their MS Excel skills.
Entry Requirements
Intermediate level of English
Basic computer skills
Basic numeracy skills
Outcomes
The course will cover the following topics:
- Formatting cells and data
- Formulas: creating and applying formulas
- Charts: creating graphical representation of your data
- Filters: applying filters and sorting data
- Reviewing: checking your work for written and numerical accuracy.
- Design: creating and editing spreadsheets for business and personal use.
- Additional topics by group request.
Upon successful completion students will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment Statement of Attainment in Microsoft Excel – Intermediate.
