Entry requirements
Online learning: Access to a computer with internet access.
You will need to have language, literacy and numeracy skills (LLN) that allow you to read and interpret information a basic level. City East Community College may conduct an LLN assessment as part of the pre enrolment process.

This course will give you the skills needed to...
• understand concepts of cultural awareness, cultural safety and cultural competence
• reflect on your own perspectives on diversity
• select and use appropriate verbal and non verbal communication
• recognise situations where misunderstandings may arise from diversity and form appropriate responses.
Course Delivery
This course is delivered in an online learning environment.
You will be matched with your trainer / assessor and be required to participate in a live video training environment for practical assessments.
Course Outcome
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the CHCDIV001 – Work with Diverse People
